Who we are
About Wallcrest
Wallcrest is an independent, English-language finance newsroom publishing for a global readership.
Last updated: 11 August 2026
What we publish
Wallcrest covers markets, crypto and digital assets, economics and central banking, personal finance, business, real estate, technology and commodities. Our work is explanatory first: we aim to leave a reader able to reason about a subject, not merely informed that something happened.
Ownership and independence
Wallcrest is a standalone publication. It is not part of any other media group, and it is not owned by, funded by or affiliated with any broker, exchange, bank or asset manager. Where we may earn commission from money pages, this is disclosed on the page and explained in full on our How we make money page.
How our newsroom is organised
Wallcrest publishes under editorial desk bylines rather than invented personal bylines. Each desk is accountable for its output, and each article names the desk responsible. We do not create fictitious journalists, biographies or headshots.
Our approach to data
Market values on Wallcrest are drawn from a single data layer with an explicit status label. Until a licensed real-time feed is connected, no prices are displayed at all — we would rather show an empty board than illustrative numbers a reader could mistake for quotes.
