Privacy Policy

How Wallcrest handles personal data, written to meet GDPR and UK GDPR expectations.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

Who we are

Wallcrest is the controller for personal data processed through this website. Data protection enquiries: privacy@wallcrest.com.

What we collect

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address, processed on the basis of consent, and only once an email provider is connected.
  • Analytics: aggregate usage measurement, only where you have consented via our cookie notice.
  • Server logs: technical data such as IP address and user agent, processed on the basis of legitimate interests for security and abuse prevention.
  • Correspondence: what you send us when you contact the newsroom.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not build advertising profiles of readers, and we do not share your email address with providers featured on our money pages.

Retention

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes. Correspondence is retained as long as needed to handle the matter and meet our record-keeping obligations.

Your rights

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your national supervisory authority. Contact privacy@wallcrest.com to exercise any of these rights.

International transfers

Where a processor operates outside your region, we rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism such as standard contractual clauses. Processors are listed on request.
